Dr Ralph French, BDSc
Dentist
Dr Ralph French has dedicated over 40 years to helping patients achieve and maintain their dental wellness. Originally from Victoria, he graduated from the University of Queensland in 1980 and began his dental journey working on the Sunshine Coast. After spending time in a Brisbane hospital and practising in the UK for two years, Ralph returned to Australia to join his father, Victor, in their joint dental practice in Brisbane's CBD.
When the Tattersalls Club redeveloped their building, Ralph relocated his practice to Queen Street Mall, where he continued to serve patients for 30 years. With the redevelopment of the NAB building, Ralph embraced a new opportunity, joining the Edward St Dental team. This change has allowed him to continue offering care while working alongside a passionate and skilled team.
Dr Ralph enjoys the daily variety that general practice offers, finding joy in helping patients understand and improve their oral health. He values the ongoing learning that comes with each day in the field and the collaborative efforts with experienced hygiene and OHT team members to focus on preventive care.
Ralph is an avid learner outside the dental practice, believing, "The more you know, the more you realise you don't know." His hobbies include still-water rowing and participating in dirt car rallies. A fun fact about Ralph is that the doctor of the Hawthorn Football Club delivered him!

For Dan, dentistry is more than a job; it’s a way of giving back to the community. He finds great satisfaction in achieving excellent outcomes for his patients in a friendly, collaborative environment where every team member excels in their role.
Outside the clinic, Dan's a family man and loves spending time and creating memories with his loving wife Chloe and two daughters Lottie and Lexi and can be spotted on the "river loop" at any opportunity as he is also a recreational cyclist, regularly competing in the cycling leg of team relays at the Noosa and Mooloolaba triathlon events. He’s also an avid Zwifter and enjoys keeping up to date with the world cycling scene. When he’s not on the bike or with the family, you’ll likely find him tinkering with PCs, listening to music or troubleshooting tech; he’s the unofficial IT guy among his mates.
