At Edward St Dental, our initial dental examination involves an assessment of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health. This includes a full check-up of your teeth and any existing dental work, a gum health assessment, oral cancer screening, and x-rays if required. We also take time to discuss any concerns or symptoms you may have and to provide a personalised treatment plan, including recommendations if any treatment is required.
Following your initial examination, if required, you will be booked with one of our lovely caring dental hygienists for a dedicated cleaning appointment. Our hygienists specialise in this area and focus exclusively on providing thorough, high-quality cleans using the latest technology including the EMS Airflow system.
Please note that this process applies only to your first visit. For your ongoing active maintenance appointments (typically every six months), you will see both the dentist and hygienist during the same visit.
