While your temporaries are still in place, please exercise care so that they stay in place. Loss of your temporary crown can cause tooth sensitivity, feel sharp on the tongue, and compromise the fit of the permanent crown.
- As much as possible, begin chewing pattern on the opposite side.
- Avoid hard foods such as hard mints, candy, pork crackling, etc.
- Be very careful when flossing; floss through the contact and remove by gently pulling the floss sideways.
- Brush teeth normally and thoroughly around the temporary crown.
