8 Upper Veneers

The patient came to us with concerns about wear affecting their front teeth. Over time, the wear had made the teeth appear shorter, which changed the overall appearance of the smile. The patient also felt that their smile looked narrow, with darker spaces visible at the sides when they smiled.

Customised Treatment Plan

After discussing the patient’s concerns and treatment goals, Dr Matthew Pulvirenti developed a treatment plan involving 10 porcelain veneers on the upper front teeth. Digital Smile Design formed an important part of the planning process.

The patient was able to preview the proposed design and provide feedback before the veneers were fabricated. This allowed the team to refine the proposed shape and proportions in line with the agreed treatment plan.

Digital scanning was also used to capture detailed information about the teeth, avoiding the need for traditional impression materials. The digital workflow supported the planning and communication between the dental and laboratory teams throughout treatment.

The veneers were then placed as planned, with the treatment focused on addressing the patient’s concerns about tooth proportions and smile width.
